HAPPY NEW YEAR!  We started 2012 off with a few fireworks in the back yard...and by fireworks I mean just sparklers:)  I wanted to get enough fireworks for a little show but I was afraid we'd start a fire or get cited by the police...I didn't know what the rules are about fireworks in the back yard so I decided not to risk it!  But the boys had enough fun with the sparklers so it worked out, or at least Noah did, Wyatt held the first one all the way till it burned out and then he decided that was enough.

After that he wouldn't hold one or come near one  unless I was holding it! I don't know what spooked him after that first one but I never complain if it gets him into my arms;)

Noah had loads of fun with the sparklers, we couldn't light them fast enough!  He was running all over the yard hollering and whooping!  But if that wasn't fun enough, Dad showed Noah how to make cool shapes in the air with the sparkler and when you take a picture of it while they are moving it makes it look like you are drawing with fire.  I can't really explain it but I have a few pictures that show it, it was really fun watching the different shapes you guys came up with! Dad loves being one of the boys, thinking up fun competitions or games just to make things a little more interesting! And Noah is his little twin, he eats it right up, he has quite a competitive side:)

This picture is a little embarrassing because of all the garbage in the background but I wanted to document Uncle Brandon being with us to celebrate the New Year.  We had seven layer dip nachos for dinner and enjoyed watching the ball drop (New York time) and talking and playing together!  We love Uncle Brandon!

We are so excited for this new year and all the adventures it brings and the memories we'll make!  Welcome 2012!
